Sustainability and opportunities for action for the Principality of Liechtenstein

Together with the Liechtenstein Natum Foundation, on the project platform of the Association of Liechtenstein Charitable Foundations (VLGS), myclimate looked ahead to an ambitious goal. From 2019, the anniversary of the principality, the students and apprentices are to be well prepared for active climate protection and sustainability.

"Demonstrating the diverse opportunities for action and optimism for a sustainable society to all students and apprentices in one country sounds like a vision. We are very pleased to make this vision a reality with the help of our partners including the Natum Foundation," says Maxi Grebe, Head of Education and member of the Executive Board at myclimate, who personally presented the project and content at the platform meeting.

On 2 October, the project platform of the Association of Liechtenstein Charitable Foundations took place for the second time. Michèle Frey-Hilti from the Hilti Foundation and five other Foundations presented the latest projects to over 100 guests in the packed Schlösslekeller. In order to reach their goals, the charitable foundations network within the framework of the platform and bring different stakeholders on board. On the occasion of the European Day of Foundations, the VLGS project platform took a targeted look at the networking of foundations.

In addition to the Hilti Foundation, the Kinderschutz.li Association together with the Fürstlicher Kommerzienrat Guido Feger Foundation, the Maiores Foundation, the Football is More Foundation, Liechtenstein Cultural Foundation and the Filmclub Association displayed a wide range of social engagement.

myclimate educational projects

For more than ten years, myclimate has been encouraging different groups to make a contribution to our future with action-oriented and interactive educational programmes. With this aim in mind, in Switzerland myclimate has already reached around 20,000 school pupils with the "Energy and Climate Pioneers" project and more than 9,000 trainees with the "Energy and Climate Laboratory" project competition, and has also established a global network of 1,600 students and young professionals.
