They are journalists and Germany's most successful travel podcasters, they are frequent travellers and they have a vision: Jochen Schliemann and Michael Dietz from the podcast «ReisenReisen» have been trying to live – and also travel – as climate-friendly as possible for many years. For their listeners, however, the journalists are by no means pointing the green finger. Rather, they deal with all kinds of questions, inspirations and alternatives around sustainable travel. The two podcast makers are all the more pleased about the cooperation with the renowned climate protection organisation myclimate.

From September 2021, ReisenReisen and myclimate will officially go ways together and thus set examples for more sustainability in travel. To kick off the ideal partnership, Schliemann and Dietz will offset all their travel from 2020 and support the Gold Standard certified myclimate carbon offset project «Saving groups enable women to afford an efficient cookstove in Kenya» with their voluntary carbon offset contribution.

«We are grateful to cooperate with myclimate and hope to give many people a little food for thought to make their travels more sustainable and to offset unavoidable CO₂ emissions. This is not about doing without, but about new possibilities. We still think travelling is one of the best things you can do with your time. Because if you see and experience this wonderful world, you might be more willing to protect it», say Jochen Schliemann and Michael Dietz.

«With their successful podcast, Jochen and Michael regularly reach very many listeners. We are therefore very pleased that the two podcast makers are making the topic of sustainable travel and climate protection a fixed part of their programme and thus sensitising more and more people to this important issue», says Janosch Menger, Project Manager Marketing and Communications, myclimate Germany.
