As myclimate’s highest management body, the Board believes that the new management structure will further strengthen the organisation within today’s dynamic market environment. The collective knowledge, experience and capabilities of the seven executives will continue to provide the basis for optimum fulfilment of myclimate’s mission: to implement effective climate protection through consultation, education and projects in collaboration with partners from industry and society.

His influence on the organisation has been profound, and the positive effects will continue to be felt for a long time.”
Experience and complementary skills
From 1 October 2023, the operational management team of myclimate will consist of the following seven people:
Kathrin Dellantonio, , Managing Director myclimate Switzerland – Hailing from South Tyrol, Kathrin Dellantonio has held various leading management positions at myclimate for around 20 years and is a specialist in advising companies on holistic climate protection.
Miryam Escher, Director of Corporate Services – Miryam Escher is a proven expert in HR and finance who has supported various rapidly growing companies over the course of her career. Since 2018, she has been responsible for the areas of HR, administration and finance at myclimate.
Stefan Baumeister, Managing Director myclimate Germany – In 2009, after 16 years in the IT industry, Stefan Baumeister founded the subsidiary myclimate Deutschland gGmbH, developing it into an organisation with a turnover in the tens of millions and a team of over 40 people.
Christof Fuchs, Managing Director myclimate Austria – Since January 2022, Christof Fuchs has been working to build up myclimate’s Austrian operations from Vienna. Among other myclimate.org 2 achievements, the experienced executive previously launched the first nationwide car-sharing system in Austria.
Florian Goppel, Director Carbon Markets – A lawyer and MBA graduate, Goppel is an internationally experienced expert in sustainability, procurement and growth management, and serves as an adviser to the European Union and other organisations. Since 2021, he and his team have supervised myclimate’s climate protection projects
Beat Nussbaumer, Director of Innovation and Digitalisation – Beat Nussbaumer is a passionate lean manager with a focus on project management and leadership tasks. Since 2020, he has brought these skills to myclimate in combination with his expertise in the area of IT.
Kai Rassmus Landwehr, Director of Corporate Marketing – Having originally studied history, Landwehr is a passionate communicator with roots in the sports industry who has helped shape myclimate’s image since 2013 by fine-tuning the organisation’s brand identity and orientation.
New approaches
The seven-person Management Committee will assume its new role on 1 October 2023.

With our collective model, we’re confident that we can reach the right decisions faster, with greater expertise and more sustainably, while also sending a resounding signal to employees and external partners in business and society,” says Kai Landwehr, speaking on behalf of the new myclimate management team.
In April this year, Stephen Neff, who has led myclimate in the capacity of CEO since 2018, announced his resignation. Neff is a passionate diving instructor and is seizing the opportunity to take over a diving school in Campbell River in British Columbia, Canada. The Swiss-Canadian grew up there, and is therefore coming full circle. Under Neff’s stewardship, myclimate has grown from a pioneering foundation with 70 employees to a professional organisation with 170 specialists and offices in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
